Um, in this AU I believe Jaelin doesn't change much from his MAGE self, he see's the Titan killing as a game of sorts when really he's just damn terrified of dying the next time he battles with those things. Cares for comrades, group mood maker of sorts he tries really, and well a dreamer too.
