I started this project at the begining of the year using modified templates from pep base from robos files on the RPF forum I constructed a ironman suit from eva foam matts. also if you want to see a video of it in action for the first time go here[link]

The suit was made of eva foam sheets purchused at harbor fright for 9.99 for a 4 pack, and I think I went through about 3 packs also used craft foamies for the gloves arc reactor and other detail sections, I used strapping that I got in the walmart camping section for like $5 total and a few elastics straps cut up for the gloves and under the shoe coverings, then used plasti dip for the base coat of paint about $7 a can and red plastic paint made by rustolum about $5 a can, silver and gold as well, so I want to say maybe $150 or less on the foam suit itself and lots and lots of hours. the helmet was triple the cost of the whole suit, it is a scupt from sharkheads pep, then molded and casted with professional grade materials, and the leds in chest and helmet I got a couple a years ago in bulk left overs from my halo 3 suit.
