THE BUILDINGThis is a photo of the interior of Kiasma, the museum of modern art located in the city centre of Helsinki, Finland.
The building is designed by the American architect Steven Holl, and the museum was opened to the public in 1998.
THE SERIES
I've only recently fully opened my eyes to the amazing architecture I'm surrounded by in my new hometown, and I'll be posting a series of photographs showing some of its beauty. This is my way of getting to know this city and its history better, and who knows.. maybe you'll find it interesting as well

Unique design, the long concrete curves are typical of modern architecture in some ways, but the variation you see from different architects shows how imaginative some of them really are.
The slightly darker glass ceiling right at the top of the frame is a little distracting, though I am guessing you had no control over that!
Great capture though. Looking forward to more of this architectural photography from you.

These are beautiful lines, the way they turn and curve in one direction just a little creating a narrow corridor. The wall to the right feeds the direction towards the end of the building. The only element I would question is the continuation of the building at the bottom. But, whether it is there or not, this is a gorgeous frame.
