Believe me.. I know the feeling. I might not know much about the situation, but I know /that/ feeling. Any relationship where you're not being true to yourself, and/or them. Is one you should walk away from.
And it's good for both parties, even if you, or them, might not believe that at times.

I definitely know, it'll get better no matter how it ends up, but I hope it works out well for both of you and you can continue being friends, considering you said you still care for him platonically.
