Link's expression...is just priceless. Saria's is great too, but Link's says it all. this is so sad...but i have hope. i don't think she'd be a sage in the child timeline, after Zelda sends him back in time, that all happened while he was an adult...so maybe there is hope for these two

In my version of the timeline, the sages are kept in the sacred realm, but after the ultimate sacrifice is made, Saria and Link do get together.
