Bio:
Despite being raised to become a member of the Royal Guard like her mother, Maya gradually developed a more rebellious attitude towards her mother's teachings. This naturally resulted in some tension being developed between the two of them as Maya started to pursue a career in music. Over time the two of them gradually grew apart, so when Maya left her home state in favour of a new life elsewhere she did so without saying a word to her own mother. In time she joined a number of different bands and performed in various cities, but it wouldn't be until she learned of an open band audittion in Black Reach that she finally found a band that she connected with.

Sadly, it wouldn't be until she heard news of her own mother's death that she found the strength to go back home.
