I hadn't eaten any for quite a long time - not something my mom likes, so I didn't eat it growing up. But I'm trying to eat healthier these days, which includes eating a lot of vegetables. Like asparagus. For a first timer, don't eat it plain - cook it so it's IN something, or with something at least. And if you don't like it, at least you can eat around it and still have food.

asparagus is my favorite food ever. seriously love it.
