Princess Isobelle had been riding with her retainers when her horse, spooked by something, bolted deep into the forest. When she finaly regained control, she realised that she was completley lost. Several hours later, she came across a dilapadated gardern in a clearing. Dismounting, she quenched her thirst at the small fountain, and looked longingly at the crystal clear water in the pool. It had been a hot day, and she felt sticky and the smell of hourseflesh was sour in her nostrils. Stripping off, she cast her clothing by the stairs and waded in. The water was fantasticaly cool, and she felt revived and envigorated almost immediatly. She floated there, the water feeling tinglingly cold against her skin. Her horse brayed softly, and Isobelle sat up, snatched from her thoughts. She streatched out her legs, one touching the edge of the pool. A warning rang in her head, and she finaly realised that the pool was having a most unusual effect on her...........
