Samus. all digital.I felt the urge to draw here up without the helmet. And give her a more streamlined tightly fitted suit. Mostly because Samus seems to just get chunkier and bulkier as the games progress. And i really hate all the new designs of her when she is outside the suit. I see her as a bad ass. and then in a lot of recent renditions.....she is some soft blonde dits with a scrunchy in her hair. blech.
The Streamlined part comes in because... well i just like it better. And i kinda dig the more Ninja-esc feel.

I really like your style. The gritty feel it gives off is cool. And I like the Metroid series, so it's a win-win for these eyes.

I like the scratchy, raw feel of your pieces in general and this in particular. The streamlining looked weird at first glance, but I have to say it's quite nice. The muted palette really goes nicely with the feel you're trying to invoke, and makes for a nice contrast to her white hair.
Your dislike of Zamus saddens me though; fighting various space-nasties (and Nintendo all stars) in what amounts to a space-catsuit and a whip strikes me as mad gutsy. It's fanservice yes, but it's badass fanservice.

yeah, it was a cover to Play magazine about 4 or 5 years ago, and it was part of the iam8bit show a few years back. I have it in a book, but it is at work, and my googling skills are failing at the moment.
