for the weekly sketch over at the Sketchtavern.comI was recently looking back at some marvel 2099 series, and thought it would be fun to draw up some DC characters in 2099.

Just saw this one again.
It could also work as a great design for an old, crazy, war-torn version of Flash Gordon being horribly scarred in body and soul from endless battles with Ming the Merciless.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Coolest fucking thing ever to happpen to Flash. I wish he had some sort of rotartor on his hips to give him that super fast motion.

well he wasn't meant to be, lol... but i wanted him to have dark skin to show that he has been in the wild for a long time and got dark by crawling around in the sun, and the dreads because he was going crazy and decided not to groom. but man, i wish flash was black
