Commission for of the Toxic Avenger. Or crusader depending on the versions.I always loved the design of Toxie, not really a fan of the movies. First one was alright. i saw some of the cartoon when it came out and i remember liking the characters. right up my alley, and the style was nice. I miss that stuff, when not everything looked the god damned same.
Anyway, i wanted to kinda mix the more realistic version of Toxie with the cartoonish one. i kinda dig it.

I wish the toxic avenger movies aren't so rare these days. The only way I get to see the Toxic Avenger is thru joost.com but they edited out parts that complete the movie. Most of the gore and camp violence is still there but it still feels lacking. I loved the dsys of USA Up all night: Rhonda Shear was my "baby" and Gilbert Gottfried was my boy.

This character is a perfect match for you style. A good mix of comedy, action, horror & grit. I loved the cartoon as a kid. I think I still have a couple of the toys in my parents garage somewhere.

Probably my first introduction to cult cinema was the Toxic Avenger. It was like nothing I'd ever seen. I felt naughty for watching it, LOL.

There is the toxic crusader, which was the cartoony line, and the Toxic Avenger which was trying to be more super heroish

The superhero-y one. Their tag was, "The first superhero...From NEW JERSEY".
I remember the cover for the second issue, it has Toxie facing off against a tank. The copy on the cover says,
"No Tanks! I already ate!" For some reason that shit cracked me up. This was around 94-95.
