The one on the left reminds me more of the 1980s Ruby-Spears cartoon character Thundarr The Barbarian, minus the animal skin garments.

I agree. I like the one of the left, because it has a nice modeled feel to it. Really gritty. I like the one on the right, because it has great emotive capabilities, feels more open.
Yeah, mix them together and see what you get!

I love the styles but i really like the one on the right. It looks more appealing and would work really well animated to.
