Description
This was the best shot I could get of the snow covered trees on a hillside this morning. I tried getting creative and didn't get the results I wanted but the it does show how the trees looked very well.This is probably one of those shots where a month from now it will occur t me what to do with it.

I absolutely LOVE the contrast of the dark sky with the bright white trees. This looks amazing. What an image!
I think my favourite part of this whole concept is the trees in the background that appear black rather than white. Like they're a completely different kind of tree, when they're really not.
So envious...

You can see just a few brown places where the chestnut oaks are still holding on to their leaves. Other than that the wet snow was on everything like that fake aerosol snow.

Well, I wanted the fluffy trees and they were so pretty but the photo just looked boring. I couldn't think of anything artistic to do to show them off.

.... hmm... I see... I hate when my photos don't capture something the way I want... There's just no replacement for the human eye. This photo did turn out gorgeous though with the white trees against that dark blue sky... You picked a good one to submit.
