There is the pond in the middle of the photo which is about 15 meters in diameter. Hidden below the treeline that runs across the photo is Fishing Creek which is a major tributary of the Ohio River.

You have no photos of that place, do you ?
I am needing a forest opening with a river and a flat rock...

Check a few pages back in my photos. There are plenty there. I may take some autumn photos along the creek this weekend.

I checked and they are very cool... but not exactly what I need.
You have many, like 8 or 9 !!
It is for what I explained on my last journal...
Smiles,

How cool to find an arrowhead! We had Native American's in our old neck of the woods, but they were more fishers than shooters...but we've found some interesting fossils - clam-like shells and stars I have them on my fireplace mantle...

I'm 1/4 Cherokee. I remember my great-grandfather well. He used to say "White man builds a big fire and sits way back", which is always a reminder to me not to be excessive. But the old coot never left me any arrowheads lol

We could all learn from that mind set! There's Cherokee on my husband's side - maybe 1/16th I think we figured out (great, great grandmother) ... His dad's family is from Antlers OK so I did indeed marry an Okey boy's son!

It is! I wrote a short story for a friend's book about an event on that farm. Now I am writing "Shortliners" which is a collection of short stories all about this area, which is called The Shortline.

Wow! I was thinking more of a teaser than a full fledged book but I must say they look tempting. My biggest problem is I am cheap I usually buy my books second hand and I hate to pay shipping. Mind you Christmas is coming....
