Description
When I drew my original Daredevil: The Animated Series illustration (which you can see here ), a lot of people asked me why I didn’t have Jessica Jones in the lineup. So, I decided to do another version that included her, and I also redesigned the rest of the characters to look more like the Netflix versions.

For the record, I really wanted to have Jessica Jones in my original piece -- I loved the show, and Krysten Ritter was phenomenal -- but visually, JJ isn't very interesting. She just looks like a regular person, and I wanted to go with characters who have a more classic “comic-booky” appearance. And speaking of comic books, JJ isn’t as integral to the DD mythos as the characters I chose for the cast of my hypothetical TV series, so she didn’t make the cut.

The problem with this group of Netflix Marvel heroes is that I wasn’t sure which logo to use. It’s not quite The Defenders because of The Punisher, and I certainly wasn’t going to draw the big Netflix “N” at the bottom, so I just stuck with the “DD” – let’s imagine that this is what Daredevil: The Animated Series would look like if it was on Netflix 😈
