Quality work mate!

Have you printed it? I think it would look ever better in print!

I like the fact that it's sharp and vivid, yet it's still harmonious in its composition.

Thanks. No sadely. The only stuff of mine of ever printed was so a present for a friends housewarming and just recentely my folio (20 images) I put into BA of Photography RMIT for next year. Still don't know what I want to do with my life either that or a a grad dip of outdoor and environmental education at La Trobe or contiune on with the enviro eng stuff from the masters I'll graduate with at the end of this year. Can't say engineering excites me all that much (god only know how I got through my chem eng undergrad and now the masters) relative to the others but hey the money is great. Cheers

When do you hear back from RMIT? I've heard it's pretty tough to get in...? Is it possible to use photography in the field of engineering... It could put you above other photog's in that area and income might be negotiated up to your qualifications??? Just an thought... Although I have no idea how you could go about it. Sorry.

I'm doing Cert IV in Photoimaging. (Working full time and studying part time) It's hard work, with little time to actually have a life...

Best of luck buddy!

No worries. I hear back on the 7th of November as to whether I get an interview based on my folio that I submitted. Yeah your right. Not sure about my chances but have shown my stuff to a few people in the course at the moment and they reckon if I don't get at least an interview there is something wrong or the competion is abnormally strong this year. If I went down the engineering track would just keep it as a hobby. If I went down the trip leading track would take photographs for the participents and maybe make a coin on the side. Not sure if I get accepted as to wether I would actually do the course it's three years of my life and unnless I'm going to become a professional architectual photographer not alot of use. but as a way of avoiding the real world for another three years it would work nicely

So what do you want to do with your cert? Change of careers or just for something out of interest?

Yeah, but once your getting payed to shoot, it's not impossible to shift your focus to another area, if you found it wasn't for you... And three years will go pretty quickly... In the end though, it's got to be something your passionate towards.

It's part of my struggling effort towards a Dip and yeah, it's going to take a while... Hopefully I can have a smooth transition in changing careers... I was going to go in to a full explanation but it would become pretty lengthy... It's probably better over a coffee? (Send me a note, if you want to meet in town sometime for a chat. No big deal if you cant or don't feel comfortable about it, that's cool)

Take it easy, Les
