PLEASE explain this concept of derpy hooves. i never see him/her/it in the episodes, and i think i've seen just about every episode that has been released. what gives? im confused, and i know it's not just ONE person's OC cuz i've seen him/her/it EVERYWHERE on Deviantart. please. explain this to me.

Derpy hooves is a background pony named by the fans. She got her name because of an animation error - her eyes were derp'd. There are now more scenes with derpy now. Long story short, the fans named a background character, the animation studio turned her into a character. Season 2 is supposed to have even more derpy!
