Posting these only because they've been cleared to go up the magazine and the flickr sites for cyberpioneer.Simulated casualty evacuation from the Combat Support Hospital to homeland via a Chinook helicopter.

Niiice, can't imagine what it must have been like to be photographing at that time though, kneeling down and waiting for exactly the right moment to press the shutter as the soldiers run by

ah. in moments like this, there's no wait. it's all in the moment, dashing ahead of them, kneeling and firing away like your life counts on it. That's sometimes photojournalism. It happens so fast, there's no time to think. you have to let your instincts kick in

heh. well it's almost the same here. but because i'm an official photographer, they don't have a choice. and it's featured on the magazine anyway
