First thought - "How did they take the photo? Is it a manipulation?" Eye goes to the category - "Traditional drawing? Holy shit that's awesome!"

I have looked long and hard at this picture, it troubles me so much. Thatβs not in any bad way it is because it throws all the senses in so many directions. The subject is portrayed as strong and yet he is weak and helpless, held motionless in a sea of smoke and fumes, he is blind. His body is tense and still and solid. He is in three minds, the concentration on his face tells you that his senses are working in tune with his surroundings and yet he still holds the one thing that gives him power - the sword.
I remember my art teacher once telling me that some people draw what they see and others will see what they draw. I prefer that latter.
This is a fantastic piece of art.

It seems to be impossible to do such a work... but you did! How long did it take you to finish it? I wish my work would be half as good!

Thank you very much. I work full time as an artist which allows me a lot of time to invest in each piece, they take between 2 to 5 weeks. Best wishes
