This is a collaboration with who drew this amazing sketch and colors of Bardock, the Father of Goku.Here's the original, I strongly suggest checking it out!

I just had to give my touch and take on it, so I re-inked and colored it and he was nice enough to allow me to do it. The background was originally the healing chamber room, but it didn't fit the feel, so I went with space because it's so associated with the Bardock special. Hopefully the quotes will remind you of the movie and give it another view!

Yup, I don't think Bardock cared much for Raditz. I saw one comic where he did though.

It's called 'Dragon Ball Zero'. Β It's basically the history of Raditz and it's drawn by the guy who draws the Dragonball Super manga. Β I don't have a link to the full comic, but I suggest looking it up!

I think I've seen that one, is it the one where he is fighting to rank up to go on missions, then wins (by cheating) and Bardock rewards him because he won?

I liked that story. You don't see much of Raditz after he dies. People rate him as weak, but Nappa were picked of easily. Even though Goku trained to get strong enough to do so, it counts. My Β is, he wasn't weak he was sloppy. Letting his guard down multiple times, similar to how Goku does in super. Sure of his own strength leading to judgemental conclusion that he has the advantage, causing an opening in his dropped guard. Raditz felt he could wipe out Goku at any time, and moved on to kill his son first. He had a scouter he should have seen Piccolo charging his energy sooner than he did.

So is Bardock. I think Goku struggled against Raditz. I don't like Goku. I never seem too fond of the main characters when watching a tv show. Just the way I am. Do you have a character you like in DBZ/Super?

My favorite characters are tenshinhan, vegeta, whis, burter, videl, piccolo, Bulma, Android 18, and Future Mai. I like a lot of characters hahaha

Nope. To me he seems unrealistally stronger than everyone else (unrealistic meaning he get stronger than anyone stronger than him too quickly) and never helps until he "needs" to. Honestly it feels like he's only the strongest simply because he is the main character of the show, and because of it he doesn't interest me.
That's my overlook on him anyway.

His kikoho was able to hold off Cell and even deflect a blast from Super Buy, I've always had a soft spot for him and I really like his look in Super!

He looks epic i'll say. People often forget him, because of it know little about him. I'm not saying I know everything, but I like to think he is a well contributed member of the Z warriors.

"Bardock: Father of Goku" was what started the whole journey for Goku. I too wish Bardock had the chance to hold his son. Goku truly is someone special in more ways than one.

i cried when i everytime see this pic...its like how sad it is to never see and hold ur kid....and he didn't have the chance to hold him for 1 second...poor bardock i feel bad for him...
