Well, with its Iroquois engines, it should have changed what you said. I must correct that the Arrow has beaten pratically each requirement that has been done by the RCAF command.

I don't know for the XF-108, perhaps even if the YF-12A was the fastest, it's agillity was debatable.

But, it's true it wouldn't have a lot of chances to kill a Valkyrie, however it would never have been its ennemy. The Arrow was made to counter Soviet bombers abd their escort, not US planes.

Anyway, that was not my goal. I just meant that my favorite plane is the Arrow while my second is the Valkyrie (I love the delta look)

Hmm... Not the greatest. The second greatest. The Avro Canada CF-105 Arrow was the greatest.

But the Valkyrie is still great! It rocks! It owns [pratically] anything

Sorry to break it to you, but even the XF-108 Rapier and the YF-12A (Both aircraft that in simulated [The Rapier] and actual [The YF-12A] tests out proformed the Arrow, a fact that Canadians often overlook, even when they gloss over the fact that the Arrow never meet the specs that are often given) would only have had something like a 35% percent chance of a Kill against a B-70 with the DAMS.

Sorry to burst your bubble but the Avro Arrow is the most over-rated fighter that I know of.
