I was reading a Savage Sword of Conan story last night and came across this character. I've seen her before in Conan stories, but the way Big John Buscema draws her is very attractive. He is one of my favorite artists and his work in Savage Sword is far better than anything he did for Marvel and that stuff was top notch to begin with. I much preferred Buscema's Fantastic Four to Kirby's and I love Kirby as well. As Alex Toth is to 60s and 70s Saturday morning cartoons, in begin the guy who created that whole look, Buscema is to 70s and 80s comics, especially Marvel. They both are not as well talked about or idolized as much as Kirby or even Timm's work for Warner Bothers in the 90s and 00s.

But in regards to Isparana, she shows up a bunch of times in Conan stories and I think it's her headband and raven hair that does it for me. He totally radiculous top doesn't hurt either on the eyes, but curse that infernal pelt she wear across her lower half!
