I was about to point out the times she's lost, but... Crystal Empire, she was beaten by Cadance and Shining Armor. In season 6, she was beaten by the MLP Suicide Squad. In the Mean Six she was betrayed.

yep! She's captured the entirety of the main six for season 6. and her changelings eventually was able to subdue them.
It's one of my reasons why i enjoy chrysalis so much, she can usually beat the main target. And only beaten by something unpredictable.Β

While I understand the idea that Celestia is sending main 6 to solve most of problems. The show itself proved that main 6 cannot defeat Chrysalis and her army, and it was up to Cadence and Shining Armor to save the day.
In fight against Sombra, it was Cadence who kept Sombra at bay and used Crystal Heart to kill the evil tyrant.
I do not really like the idea that main 6 can just kick flanks of everyone, especially Chrysalis who have army by her side. I would prefer to see other royal save the day for a change, because main 6 are not invicible.

It's called the "celestia protocol" because "call twilight and get her to fix it" seems to be Celestia's first and last port of call for fixing shit, and it's poking fun at that. If you can't have a laugh about something you like, do you actually like it?

I'm well aware I didn't come I to the fandom yesterday so I know al about the way the fandom loves to rag on her cause fuck her I guess right? Nobody likes Celestia. And if I do then I can go fuck myself.
It's called being frustrated and disappointed and disillusioned with the show and the fandom that once made me happy. It's also called being thin skinned because bashing Celestia and DHX writing her the way you say as the "Celestia Protocol" serves nothing more than for the fandom to rag on her and make her seem weak and useless and it gets old to see people do after a whole and it's disheartening to see it become a staple of the show. And it's also disheartening to see Celestia replaced.
And it's especially disheartening to know that I'm an untalented piece of shit and can never make good art music fics etc, to counter it or to represent my love for my favorite character... And I feel alienated by the twilight sparkle show, and in this so called loving and tolerating fandom I feel quite unwelcome.Β

Jokes are something you're supposed to laugh at, not take seriously. Everybody makes fun of their favorite character at least once, I mean Jesus, it's not like they're real anyways. Listen man. While I simpatise with you on the part where fandom is repeating the "useless royal sister" joke in stories, comics and arts far to often, I really think you are overreacting.
Giving a powerful character chance to do something without ruining the conflict is not easy, and many people just go easy rotue with removing them or having them screw up for the sake of the story instead of putting some efforts into finding ways make them useful and competent for a change, and it is something we cannot do much about.

funny I had some ideas about how differently things could be been done. I'm sorry but it sounds like just more of someone maiming excuses for mccarthy's laziness and dislike of Celestia. It's not easy to write Celestia so she'll just take the usual bash Celestia route... It's like they just don't give a shit... I may be "overreacting" and I may not. But it's been five years almost and it's become a stale of the show to makes favorite character look useless and the fand loves to point it out. Meanwhile the writers to out of their way to pander to other more popular sections of the fandom.
and I'm ficking tired of people bashing artists who try to portray her in a good positive and badass light when the shout wedding vines and shit like that.
maybe they're right and maybe bashng Celestia is the way they pander to the popular fandom too. And if that is then the show writers truly do suck.
