Description
This is Normal - Click here for the latest.Ok, I forgot to draw the seatbelts, but that doesn't change my point - the driver went 50 in a school zone! That's nuts! I mean, yes, we got home quick, but I'd rather save the rollercoaster for when I'm at a theme park, thank you very much. Why would you go so fast when you know you're picking people up from a freaking hospital?

It's fancy writing. I draw these too small to be bothered to do the details.

Mining road in Northern Canada, with a driver who looks suspiciously like the sniper from TF2. I was sitting beside a (sealed) box full of knives.
Apparently a pickup truck has the same turning radius as an Italian sports car.Β Β

Nope, but we nearly had a head on collision with another vehicle in our group.
They got stuck, we kept going for a while before we decided to turn back. They got unstuck in the meantime and got going again, but that road had about 5m visibility in post spots, plus it was really just wide enough for a lane and a half. In the end nobody died, and all the trucks got through.
But I digress. That kind of driving doesn't belong on city roads.

That's kph, right? Please say that's 50kph in a school zone.
In addition to being stupidly dangerous, 50mph in a school zone can carry jail time where I live.

KPH isn't on the road signs in the UK, I'm afraid. Luckily it was basically night time, so there was no way there'd be any kids about, but still.

I dunno, you'd have thought that he'd want to take his time to maximise how much money he can get out of us.

To be honest, I don't know how they charge - I think different companies do it differently. All I know is that I've seen the meter go up when we've been sat at a red light before.

It just seems to be a standard across the industry that they go way too fast, doesn't it?

They wanted to make sure the doctors did a good job. If the motion jars an organ loose or dislocates a bone, well, you know the surgeons didn't put everything back together well enough.

Try a drive like that a freaking bus. We had a bus driver I called the Driver from Hell. You do NOT speed up that much with an old bus just waiting to fall apart, on countryside roads covered with holes.

That sounds terrifying! At least with cars/taxis you've got seatbelts and airbags, but damn!

A whole bus with people and children, he would drive like that every day
And since it was out on the countryside we got the old buses slowly breaking apart.

On foot I'm sure to be on time much better than the class mates that live closer but still insist on taking the bus or car to school
