The dart is filled with poison that can paralyze someone temporary. The effects should last up to 5 minutes per shot, depending on the target's health. The weaker they are, the more effective it is. However, too many doses can be lethal and may induce tremors with prolong use and rarely death.

If he ever runs out of darts, he can either use normal bullets or use it as a blunt weapon.

It is designed to recognize Hye's fingerprints and be used only by him. If anyone else tries to use it, if would not function and be a useless piece of junk.

Made out of cobalt alloy, it has better corrosion resistance compared to steel as well as a slicker surface for better, smoother cutting. The cobalt forms a strong matrix pattern that holds carbide grains to create better edge retention.

As long as it’s within a 10km radius, it can also be automatically called back after 3 minutes of being separated from the owner or when it’s exactly 10km away.

Once called back, it automatically snaps close before returning to the owner’s hands. There is also a button on handles that can be only activated by reading Hye’s fingerprint. Once activated, the poison contained in the handles flows into a flat chamber in the blade where it can be used to inject poison into the target once stabbed/slashed.

This poison cause muscle spasms in the area were the poison is injected. Depending on the target’s health, the poison can last up to 5 minutes. The weaker they are the longer it last.

Refills are stored in his drone where a needle like suction pops out of the handle of his knives to stab into the refill bottles to refill. Each blade only contain 10mL of poison. There may be rare cases of tremors and perhaps death with prolong use.

Hye is immune to this particular poison due to the practice of Mithridatism, just like his darts.

He won't hesitate to strike someone down (Special, innocent or not) once given the order to do so. Doing whatever he can to take down his target, even if it means using others. He can be your friend one moment and the next you're at the end of his weapon and then he goes back to being your friend as if he just didn't threaten your life just a few moments ago.

Hye isn’t very open about himself particularly. Although he always seems composed he actually has really low self-esteem about himself. Disliked being pitied, he is very secretive and never talks about his past or problems. He’s always calculating in what he said or does to keep this ugly part of him hidden. Even when his façade is seen through, he'll always deny it and keep faking till the other either believes him or drops the matter completely. Once his past is brought up he would cut connections gradually, depending on who it is.

He is also overly ambitious, not afraid to do whatever it takes to achieve his goal. This could be a bad thing due to the fact that he is willing to go as far as harming himself if he deems it would be useful to the current situation. More than not, he is often seen as a reckless person, however, he always think things through, paying attention to the littlest details as he is meticulous.

He's more sneaky than he appears to be, under that dumb, smiling face.

On a side note: He gets easily jealous and really petty when he see Shen being closer to anyone other than him. He is quite attached and protective of the Assistant Chief. And can be quite blind to what's actually happening than what he sees.

Hye grew up without a mother. He also grew up abused and neglected by his father. But, it wasn’t always liked that from the start.
Until he was 6, his father took great care of him when his mother died at birth. Their relationship was very close, in fact, Hye would always tell his father about his day at school and his father would tell stories for him to engulf in.
In first grade, Hye noticed a kid in a corner and decided to talk to him. No one likes to be alone, right?
“Mommy told me that she’s a Special.” A girl said to him when he announced his idea to his other friends.

Hye thought that the girl must be very smart or have a hidden talent to be called as such. Like how he is with his photographic memory. Oh how right he was, however his father never told him about Specials. Therefore, he was clueless about that fact.
When Hye went home to talk about it with his father, his father’s expression turned grim.
“Never go near that girl again, Hye.”
Hye was confused when his father told him that she was a dangerous being. Nonetheless, he stopped hanging around her. She began to hang around him instead. He tried to listen to his father, but he gave in and became friends with her.
His father got laid off from his job and slowly begun drinking away all his sorrows. At first, Hye thought nothing of it since his father sometimes drinks weird things, making him a bit scary. But it never lasted for long. His father always went back to the happy and tired man he was, promising to try better and get a job that can support them both.
Hye never knew what caused he father to lose his job. Many years later, he would find out that his father defended a Special.

When Hye happily told him about his time with the Special girl, his father snapped. Hye flinched when an empty bottle was thrown at him, narrowly missing him.
His father repeated the same words he told Hye before. Was his father always this scary? Hye denied that she was dangerous. The older male stood up and carried Hye to his room. The alcohol on his breath sickened him. His father locked Hye up in a wardrobe and left him there, ignoring the boy’s pleas.
Everything began to fall from there. His father began abusing him occasionally, as well as locking him in the wardrobe for longer periods of time.
Hye came to the conclusion that the girl was the reason his father was acting like this so he began to distant himself from her as well as the other students. Failing to get through to her only friend, she stopping trying and never talked to him again.
Yet the abuse still continued. He put up an act that was perfectly fine. And he will continue to keep that act up for many years to come.
The boy often had to find money to support the two of them as his father stopped trying to find a job. Often, he gambles and rarely he won. And if he won he’ll only use the money to buy more drinks to wallow in sorrow. It was as if he had forgotten about his own son.
Cunning from a small age of 8, he had found ways to find money. From picking pockets to selling items to begging. And if he was caught, his father had to pick him up. The only thing that awaits for Hye at home was punishment for being a bad boy.

At age 10, Hye came home to an empty house. However, this was the norm. His father often goes out drinking most of the day and comes home late at night.

They told him that his father got caught up in a Special’s incident and died on the spot. Hye never shed a tear. People wonder if it’s because he was in too much grieve. Other wonder if the boy was glad the man was gone from his life. It was hard to tell for his face was blank.
His wounds from the abuse were treated and Hye ended up living his life in an orphanage. He continued to smile even then. They got him therapy for the night terrors that he began to have.
Once he turned 17, he went away to college on one of his multiple scholarships. When he reached the age of 21, it was then told to him that his inheritance was locked away in the bank for him when he comes to age. Hye was confused. He was never rich, his father always use up all the money they have. It was soon told to him that it was his mother's, written so in her will, Hye didn't know what to feel. His father never touched the money. Sometimes he wonders if his father ever knew. The possibility of his father actually acting like a parent of once, Hye didn't want to believe it.

It was like a deep burning hatred. No acts of kindness would change Hye's feelings. Because in the end, he was the way he was thanks to his father and he with never forget that. Many things has happened during this time. After many obstacles, Hye finally made used his money and kindness to help those in need. Often bringing around strays and treating them, most of which are Specials.

Once he came back after graduating, he immediately brought himself an apartment nearby with his savings from part-time jobs.
He’s 23 now, with no goals for himself. Part time job here and another there. He didn't have a preference of what he wanted to be.
That was until he heard about B.O.S.S from his gossiping coworkers.

At age 10, Hye came home to an empty house. However, this was the norm. His father often goes out drinking most of the day and comes home late at night.
Until someone told him the news.
They told him that his father got caught up in a Special’s incident and died on the spot. Hye never shed a tear. People wonder if it’s because he was in too much grieve. Other wonder if the boy was glad the man was gone from his life. It was hard to tell for his face was blank.
His wounds from the abuse were treated and Hye ended up living his life in an orphanage. He continued to smile even then. They got him therapy for the night terrors that he began to have.
Once he turned 17, he went away to college on one of his multiple scholarships. When he reached the age of 21, it was then told to him that his inheritance was locked away in the bank for him when he comes to age. Hye was confused. He was never rich, his father always use up all the money they have. It was soon told to him that it was his mother's, written so in her will, Hye didn't know what to feel. His father never touched the money. Sometimes he wonders if his father ever knew. The possibility of his father actually acting like a parent of once, Hye didn't want to believe it.

It was like a deep burning hatred. No acts of kindness would change Hye's feelings. Because in the end, he was the way he was thanks to his father and he with never forget that. Many things has happened during this time. After many obstacles, Hye finally made used his money and kindness to help those in need. Often bringing around strays and treating them, most of which are Specials.

Once he came back after graduating, he immediately brought himself an apartment nearby with his savings from part-time jobs.
He’s 23 now, with no goals for himself. Part time job here and another there. He didn't have a preference of what he wanted to be.
That was until he heard about B.O.S.S from his gossiping coworkers.
For some reason, something was calling him. What makes someone protect something so big? Is it really worth it? Risking their lives to protect others? Why? The curiosity was eating at him.

Shen Lee (Close Friend/Assistant Chief, 23): I don't suck his wallet dry, ignore that. He's unreasonable at times, gets annoyed when he compare our heights and all. I won't ever drop the fact he managed to punch a hole in my wall. That was a memorable moment. Despite complaining about him, I like being around him. It's fun and lively. And he's cute in a way... No one ever celebrated my birthday before. Him doing all these little things for me...hahaha... I don't deserve such a friend. I kinda wish he stop. But actually don't stop.

Edmond Bonheur (24): Worked with him to take down two specials. His aim isn't one to be made fun of. A skilled sniper.

Eleanor Fletcher (25): An agent I met outside of work. Drunk that is. She ranted a lot and well... pass out. Needless to say, I wasn't pleased to be stuck in such a situation, however, there was no way I could leave her there.

A rough speaking young lady, but a good doctor, nonetheless.

Einar (23): Seems like a down to earth, mellow guy. I haven't talked to him much ever since the adventure at the island.

Nerine (22): A kind young lady. Pretty strong as well and her weapon is useful in most cases. Now if it stops malfunctioning now and then.

Neve (23): Miss Neve and the Deputy Chief seems quite close, if I do say so myself.

Silius had me look after her while he went to a meeting?? It was pretty fun! Even if she said nothing. I got her a toy from a crane machine game!! She looked like she likes it ^P^

Silius Pearson (Deputy Chief, 24): I'll never understand that man and I don't want to. Everything he does is out of his own interest. Selfish and thinks everything can be solved with a couple of bills here and there and power. No amount of money or power can bring back the dead. One day he'll wake up and see that the world does not revolve around him.
