Haven't submitted anything good since Valentine's Day...Decided to let my artistic side run wild on this watermelon.

Thanks for your comment! I just used a paring knife. Would have been easier to use something smaller, but it was all I had. I plan on doing another carving this week, so by Saturday I should have a new image up. Check back then. ^^

Okay, I am definitely astounded. Besides which, until now I have never liked watermelon; this has changed my mind. And yet, although now that I like watermelon, I still won't eat it.
How long can this work of art last? For such a thing of beauty to exist only for a short while shows your dedication to expression of your artistic self.

It lasted about 3 days after I was finished, and I spent 3 seperate days working on it (whenever I had time). So, altogether, it kept for almost a week. ^_^
