I love this. It jumped right out at me from the thumbnail in your gallery. Nice perspective. You framed it well and the color is wonderful. Maybe it's because I like green. It's very soft. It "feels" like autumn!

I like the colours and the mood as diabolic-r00t describes. It reminds me of a place called Peasholm Park in my home town. It's like a big Japanese style garden and it's been here in Scarborough for a long time. Some parts are more than a little neglected sadly.

I agree, the way nature can kind of take over has it's own charm and some small parts of the park are like this. Some parts are really dark and a bit smelly though. In the main part, there's a pagoda on an island which you can get to via a bridge. I have not been over to it since I was little as they closed it for a long while. They started repairs and renovations recently but I think some people started a fire there and damaged a lot of it which was a shame. I think it's all OK now though. It sets a perfect mood. I can almost feel the cooler air. I love the way smells change with the seasons in the woods. It looks like a great place to sit and hold a special hand and say goodbye to Summer. I love this picture.
