For those who remember Toad Patrol, Elf Cup was quite the trouble maker in her time... both in first and second season. This occasionally lead to a situation where she felt the need to lie.

Well, some years ago, I had a friend. She was very dear to me. We spoke very often and it was rare when we missed a day. There was one summer she spent playing World of Warcraft but other than that one summer where we didn't see much of each other, we had each other's company pretty much from when we first met. We used to do Toad Patrol art together as practice. (No, seriously. This picture's at LEAST 3 years old.)

As part of our practice, we often had themes. In this case, the theme was Elf Cup telling someone a secret. Due to Elf Cup and Oyster becoming close friends, I chose Oyster to be her confidant... although now, I feel with the changes I made to the image tonight (since I quite literally just coloured it), it's less secret-telling and more, "Not a word to Fur Foot or else!"

In case someone's going to mention the anatomy... I know it's terrible. Believe it or not... it was actually a lot worse before I coloured it. Why did I decide to colour it? I could say it was on a whim... but I actually found it very depressing to colour this particular picture since my friend and I have actually not spoken in at least 3 years now but I forced myself to colour it regardless. I felt that when I finished, I would have a weight lifted from my shoulders and also, would overcome an emotional hurdle.

Did I overcome that hurdle?

I suppose only time will tell.
