Raven sat up and looked at her alarm clock. 2:47. she sighed and laid back down she put her hand on her forehead and gently massaged her temple. She was finding it hard to sleep since Beastboy claimed Terra was back. Raven stared at her ceiling trying to think. There was so much on her mind. She figured that she could sleep better if she had some tea. She sat up and threw her feet off her bed. The carpet felt good in between her toes. She put hands on her bed and pushed her self up. She stood for minute thinking. Her leotard seemed to be squeezing her. It was so tight. So she walked to her closet and pulled out some baggy pajama pants and a hoodie. Raven felt her skin begin to prickle from the sudden coldness on her bare skin as she took off her leotard. She quickly finished getting dressed and started to door. When she reached the door she bent down to rub her calves which were aching from the training Robin made everyone do. She slowly opened her door and stepped out. She looked around before shutting the door. She walked down the hall quickly but quietly. When she made it to the kitchen she got the kettle and her tea bags. Putting water in the kettle and putting on the stove, Raven sat back and waited for the water to boil. Her mind seemed to wander. She didn’t like the thought of Terra coming back to the team, even though Beastboy hadn’t said anything about Terra coming back. In fact Beastboy hadn’t said one word to her. It was weird it was like Raven not drinking her tea. It was on his to do list since the day they met bug the crap out of Raven. Now that Raven thought about it Beastboy hadn’t been acting like “Beastboy” at all. He hadn’t come out of his bedroom once during the past three days, only to eat and to do the missions. Was Raven the only one that had notice? Not one joke, he hardly said a word to anyone for anything, only the common “yes, no, and please”. Cyborg had to of noticed there’s no way the Video Gamer didn’t notice the other Video Gamer not playing videogames. Raven was deep in thought she didn’t even hear that her tea was done. The only thing that brought Raven back to reality was the faint unfamiliar voice of a boy she hadn’t talked to for three days now.

“I’m glad to know I’m not the only one who couldn’t sleep.” He said smiling at her. She jumped at the sound of his voice. She had forgotten how good his voice sounded to her. She looked at him and his friendly smile he always seem to have, the one that had been hiding for three days. She gave him a small smile and then rubbed her eyes, they stung from exhaustion. Her head was starting to pound from all the thinking she had been doing.

“So…” She began she looked at Beastboy who was now standing right beside her. She gazed into his emerald eyes. “…How have you been?” she finish pouring the boiling water in her cup.

“I…” he started. He glanced at her. She was perfect in every single way; he knew he was rushing things. ‘Stop! Slow down remember what happen last time. The first girl you fell in love you rushed it, and remember what happen then?’ he thought. Raven studied his face; she looked at him in confusion wondering what he could be possibly thinking about.

“I got the “I” part but I didn’t get the “been” part.” She said in her own joking manner.

“I’ve been good…I guess.” He replied. Raven notice that disappointment tone in his voice. She wanted to ask him about everything about Terra, but she knew better. He seemed to be trouble about something she could feel it.

“What’s the matter?” she asked Beastboy was surprise by her caring tone.

“Uh, nothing.” He lied. He had been hurt by Terra again and didn’t feel sharing his feeling about that. Plus the other girl that he loved, the girl that was standing right in front of him would never love him back, knowing that made his heart sink. She looked into his eyes, something was bugging him. She was sure of it. Raven thinking it was Terra; she put her cup down and moved closer to Beastboy. She put her arms around him. Unsure of what Raven doing Beastboy stood there staring at Raven in confusion, then he slowly he returned the hug.

“I’m sorry for what ever happen with Terra.” She whispered in his ear. Chills ran up and down his body. She thought it was all Terra, she had no idea it was her. It felt so good to hold her in his arms. He didn’t want to let go, afraid he never have this feeling again, but he let go as Raven let go and backed away. She smiled at him. Then pick up her cup and started to walked towards the hall. She stopped when she felt his hand on her shoulder. She turned and he wrapped his arms around her.

“Thanks.” He whispered in her ear.

It felt so good to hold her in his arms. He didn’t want to let go, afraid he never have this feeling again, but he let go as Raven let go and backed away. She smiled at him. Then pick up her cup and started to walked towards the hall. She stopped when she felt his hand on her shoulder. She turned and he wrapped his arms around her.

“Thanks.” He whispered in her ear.
