Well this is out of the way now. I started this on a whim a few days ago, then worked on it kind of nonstop. I'm happy with pretty much everything but the beds. M3 angling for furniture up against walls is a pain. On the other hand, M3 doesn't have the height and width restrictions that EB did, which made this a bit easier than it could have been.Ness's mini-sprites include mini-ghost and mini-diamondized, which are the same for everyone.
Also, skirts are difficult to do well!
Oh, and LittleMetalDrop is just my name on starmen.net.

I didn't do this 100% from scratch, I used Lucas's sprites from Mother 3 as a base for the body shape, but other than that it's from scratch. It did take quite a while!

These are awesome, but there's just one problem. Why when I try to use them, there are a bunch of shades of white around the sprites as if the image was a jpg file?

That's really odd; it's a clean white background png file, so if you use a color selection wand you should be able to clear out the background with no mess. Have you checked your import and selection wand settings?

I don't think there are settings on Paint.

Ah, there's the problem. Paint will screw stuff up like that sometimes. There are some much better free or trial ver. paint programs that you can get, and those should fix it.
