Hooray, it's finished!
I can't ever focus on a single sprite project for long, so it takes me forever to get them done.

So, this is Marin, the main NPC in Link's Awakening. The sprites are modeled after Minish Cap sprites, including color restrictions. Since she's not a recurring character, I only gave her three sprites per step, rather than more important characters (Link, Zelda, Vaati) who have something like five per step.

Her dress was annoyingly complicated in design, and the fact that she's asymmetrical (flower on one side, and sash tie) meant that I couldn't simply mirror the sprites from one side to the other, but the extra effort is worth it. I'm really pleased with her.

Included are her singing sprites, and also the sprites for her finding and trying to wake up Link when she finds him on the beach in the game intro. Hm, I guess that means I have to make a corresponding unconscious Link sprite at some point, huh?
