Description This year on my birthday, a few months back, I invited some good friends, unfamiliar with this fiction, to play an RPG-adventure set in the world of "The Witcher". We used the Turbo Fate-system for narrative gameplay.
I wanted to play a group of odinary folk in a gritty war-time adventure. So here is the character line-up:

Iranna, the travelling merchant
Anbort, the brave peasant and his trusty hound Czarny
Rutwik, the old soldier's widow

I also played a character, Hinrich the blacksmith, but due my role as gamemaster I couldn't play him out so much.

I hope that we can continue this little story soon, maybe with some more player. Than I'll maybe draw some additional charaters.

Enjoy

Thank you.
R. Talsorian Games is working an official pen-&-paper RPG for CDPRs Witcher. But it's delayed at the moment. Till the realese, you can use a generic roleplaying system like I did; Fate, Pathfinder or GURPS for example

One would also like to note that good dog looks like a hound badly in need of some reassurance - "We're going to need a better pointy stick my master, for that stick is more fit for playing fetch than for fighting!"

I just hope that these poor Everyman Adventurers survive the consequences of adventuring in a ruthlessly-gritty Fantasy Setting rife with an extraordinary wealth of possibilities for an abominable demise!

Well, the first part ended with the peasant and the blacksmith on a wain on the way to their execution, while the widow and the merchant fled into the near marshes (*whispers* full of deadly monsters *whispers*). I think there are no really a big probability of survival for them. But we will see ...

Well that sounds like a fairly typical outcome for the average Adventuring Party on their first outing!
