"Let me go, I want to go home!" I scream as I run through the empty streets. Behind me, the shadows are crawling out of the cracks where they have been hiding. Even though I can't see them, I can feel how they start to follow me. Ever since I arrived to this place (whatever it's called) they've been stalking me every night. I can run until my muscles are burning and my throat feels like ice, they will still be behind me. Last night, I swear I could see a pair of dark, burning eyes floating in the middle of them. This place scares me; it's like being in a nightmare. I want to go home!

When I open my eyes the shadows are gone- The sky is still grey, but I can see the sun shining behind the clouds. Well, shining might not be the best word to describe the glowing orb. This sun shines with a cold, purple and evil glow. It feels as if it can see me, and that it wants to eat me. Just like everything else here. If I go through the subway, some black and ugly lizards will attack me if they get the chance. There is a giant man, with the biggest axe I've ever seen, hiding inside the mall. The other creatures here seem to be afraid of him and I don't blame them. He kills everything and everyone that might be a good meal. He almost managed to cut off my leg when I entered the mall the very first time. I haven't been there after that, I have seen the damages he is able to create. "Stop feeling sorry for yourself, it's not going to help you!" I bet I said it a little bit too loud, because in front of me, a dog-like animal with big ears and brown, fluffy fur runs out of the bow where it's been hiding.

The sun keeps throwing its cold rays down at the scary city ruins. I try to stick to roads where I can flee is something suddenly would jump out of no-where and attack me. I do have a pretty good view of my surroundings, but something doesn't feel right. It feels like I'm being watched. The silent, creepy atmosphere scares me; making me diffident. Even the smallest sound or movement scares me. I try to control my feelings, but it's not easy. The problem is that many of these... monsters are able to feel, or smell, the fear of their prey. The only reason I am still alive is that I quickly learned how to hide and how to fight them back. If you stay focused you can actually push a certain spot on their throat. If you do it right, they will be paralyzed for a few minutes. I am not sure if the trick works on all of them, but so far I haven't met any creatures which aren't affected by it. If I continue to stay focused, I will carry on my journey; hoping to find a way to get home again.

Despite all of my preparations, a wolf-like monster suddenly jumps out of the bushes. I don't think I've seen this one before. Well, that explains why I didn't notice it before I could feel its teeth sink into my throat.
