Description A prototype of the new status bar for my next Wolfenstein Mod: Resident Doom (a mixture of the original resident Evil trilogy and the Original Doom games).

The status bar is reminiscent of the one from my previous mod, Guns and Glory 0.5: The Story Retold, mostly due to the large amount of content that it will boast.

Here is a list of the features that the status bar will have (graphically depicted from left to right).
1. a Minimap display (somewhat larger than the one in Guns and Glory)
2. An area display (this displays which level the player is currently on).
3. In-game timer (this displays how long the player has been playing the game. Because of the nature of the mod as it will be, the timer will carry on times from previous levels so there is a segment for an hour display).
4. The player's funds (unlike in previous mods, Resident Doom will not have a scoring system, and instead points and the like will be used for purchasing weapons and upgrades).
5. 8 Keys (color-coded or graphically similar in fashion, letting the player know which door is opened by which key).
6. The player's face display (there will be 4 different playable characters, so different faces will appear here depending upon which character the player plays as. The appearance of the character will change depending upon certain game occurances).
7. Current status and health display (tells the player their current condition and how much health they currently have. The line at the top tells the player if they have any status ailments, such as Poison).
8. Weapon and Ammo display (these tell the player what weapon they're using, what ammo type corresponds to that weapon and how much ammo they have in stock and in their weapon's clip).
9. The inventory space (this displays the 8 different items that the player can carry around. Different characters can carry different amounts of these items and these tiles appear blank when the player does not have any of these items).
10. A powerup display (these 4 boxes tell the player which powerups they've purchased, which range from speed-boost increases, health increases, or weapon damage increases).

None of these features are hard-coded yet and the project has not officially started yet, but this will be a good template to return to for reference later.
