This was for a movie poster assignment, I' m pretty impressed with myself how fast i finished this one.I really enjoy Studio Ghibli films so i did a fan art. XP
(put your hands up if you love Howl's Moving Castle WHOO WHOOP)
it was really fun drawing this one.
thou Spirited Away is my fav and Porco Rosso comes after so i may do a fanart of those later on.

Its hard to say, cause theres alot of elements to it.
Maybe it'll be easier to ask what is it about this picture that you like and i can give you advice on how i dud it and what i was thinking.

I think what I like most is the style you put into it. I like which colors you picked and how you used them for the realistic cartoon effect.

hmmm man this is really hard to explain, so I'll do the best I can but sorry if it doesn't really make sense.
I think the main thing is I try to avoid blacks and greys for shadows, and instead use purple or blue.
So e.g. if im painting a green bush for the shadow part I would shift the hue closer to the blues and purples and make it a tad bit darker.
