Yeah but she just ran which isn't going to do much.
But the truck would have given a small chance to escape. Swerving and such would have made it harder for her to get them and as long as they can avoid her long enough to get under something they would have a chance.
Of course their best option would have been to scatter.

Not really, They are too far from any shelter.
Even assuming that at full speed the truck can run at 80 mph, it means that to her it travels at 0.08 miles per hour.. Not to mention the laughable acceleration from 0 to 60.
Maybe with a sport car, they could have had a chance to dodge her first stomp, and maybe reach the desk. But with that crappy truck, their chances are zero.
By scattering at foot their chances to escape were zero as well.. 5 seconds (and a few stomps of her massive sandals) and all of them would have been squashed flat.. by the way, assuming that she really wanted to kill them.

You do deserve a lot for your hardwork but see it this way...what have we ever done to deserve this much suspense? People would always come to your page to check your deviations, your work would never lose their value no matter if you release them all at once or like this. So it isn't you who is getting impacted at all, it just us. Plus check your notes please.
