Description I have been waiting for an opportunity to do the "Lunar Stroll" night shoot at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Philadelphia, but a malfunctioning tripod took my focus off the focus. I had been shooting with auto focus during the day, but completely forgot about switching to manual when standing in a dark cemetery. Even without focusing the camera, I saved a few shots (thanks to F25). This was so much fun! One woman was afraid of "the corpses," but I was more concerned over stumbling into a hole dug by one of the hundreds of groundhogs I saw during the day.  The William Warner, Jr. memorial is perhaps the most famous in the cemetery. Sculpted by Alexander Milne Calder in 1889, it illustrates the soul being released from its grave. Oh those wacky Victorians!

the lunar stroll sounds like a great idea! glad you were able to snag a few keepers, the night with the light painting really gives a wonderful atmosphere and perspective of this memorials
