After mowing the grass Buck came in the kitchen door to rip off his nasty outside shoes. He saw Enrique left a sink full dishes and grumbled, inhaling his own vinegar foot smell, “better get these done…” Down below Bucks son was the size of an ant after receiving a tonic he took home for science homework. Teacher had told them to find a safe space and write an essay on the world at this size, effects wear off in a couple hours. He had sent his dad a text and left a note on the fridge to explain where he was, unfortunately Buck didn’t hear his phone outside nor notice the note because he was more worried about dirty dishes. The boy had no way of contacting him now, he was running across the tile floor back towards the living room, away from the filthy feet of his dad. After Buck turned the sink on, he walked over to the soap. His son was miles and miles away from safety, he couldn’t keep his balance from the earthquakes his dad was causing. Every BOOM was followed by a sickening RRIIPP as his feet stuck to the floor from sweat. As Enrique fell again he got his foot stuck in something sweet and was glued in place, he was hysterically crying and shaking, knowing and watching his fate take another step. Bucks foot hovered over tiny Enrique one last time, a drop of sweat dripped down and splashed next to him. Staring at every crevice, crumb and piece of grass “DADDY PLEASE NOOO!!! O MY GOOOOOD NOOO—*SCRLUMGPOP* Buck never noticed that he crushed his son into nothing but a brown stain.
