Description
Fred had been a good father to his step sons, who had been shrank due to an airborne virus they caught at the hospital, while their mother was alive but things changed when she passed. He was left with the sole responsibility of taking care of the tiny guys still living at home at age 19 21 and 22. He was literally walking on eggshells to avoid a tragedy, he couldn’t live his own life. So after a really bad day at work he gathered them in the living room for a movie night. He told them he needed company after a stressful day and they were happy to be there with him. The 3 guys sat down in front of the couch, in the safe zone, in front of Fred. He turned the lights off and started the movie, taking his shirt and socks off. The boys could immediately smell their stepdads feet but didn’t want to say anything to bring his day down even more so they just sucked it up. Thirty minutes into the movie Fred was feeling a little guilty about he was going to do but he had to keep reminding himself ‘they will have a hard life in the future anyway and you deserve to live normally, after all they’re not your kids.’ He reached down and started cracking his toes which scared the hell out of the teens, he said “sorry boys but the movie needed more jumpscares haha.” They laughed and continued watching. Fred picked up his phone and texted his buddy to come over for some drinks and then lifted his foot and moved it forward, just beyond their vision. It didn’t cast a shadow cuz the room was so dark, he wiggled his toes smiling at them. He had to do it before he had second thoughts, he lowered it slowly. “You know I love you like my own right?” Before they could turn around to respond his foot met the carpet and he twisted it, feeling the crunch. He sighed in relief, he was free again. *knock knock* his buddy let himself in and sat down on the arm chair asking where his kids were. “I don’t know, haven’t seen them since I came home but I’m sure they’re upset with me for putting my foot down.” Fred chuckled.
