Description
The micros had to find permanent shelter somewhere and they have been watching a mans house for a few weeks. The giant lived alone and had a guest room that he never entered, the micros finally made the decision to take up residence there. They could have access to food and build a community. 2 months went by without incident, other than the occasional insect battle. This particular day started like the rest, lookout shifts changed at dawn as the gathering party arrived with crumbs and water. Every micro doing their part to keep safe, make tools, make clothes, building materials and take inventory on food supplies. They heard the extremely loud footsteps and felt the minor earthquakes but were use to it, knowing the giant was just walking down the hall. They went about their day as normal until they heard the door handle, the alarm was sounded and they all ran to the emergency safe area, which was under the bed. Earthquakes were major now as he stepped into the room, sounding like thunder and velcro being ripped as the barefeet peeled off the hardwood floor. He was on the other side of the bed changing the pillow cases. The micros were thrown off their feet by the quakes he was creating. The man quickly walked around to the other side, presumably to do the same thing with the remaining pillows. Panic and chaos erupted as the giants sweaty feet were inches away from the crowds. The micros looked up in horror as first foot landed on 14 people with a nasty CRUNCH. Crying and holding one another as they we’re getting to their feet once again to run for their lives, another step another 11 dead SQRUNCH. He finished changing the pillow cases and left the room, not a soul left inside. He threw the cases in the hamper, walked into the dining room to sit down and stretch before work, never noticing the corpses smashed on his feet.
