In an alternate reality, Max came to Dragonland by chance through the magical scale, and was found by a titanic red dragoness, named Ruby. After assuring the little human, she meant him no harm, she told him a little bit about herself, about how she had a son named Ord, and there were other Dragons, even a little girl Dragoness who stood only slightly taller than him, named Cassie. She teased him, saying he was so tiny, he was the size of a baby dragon, and he was, but it was only to help him feel less one edge. Once Max told Ruby how he got here. But, after all the information was given, it was discovered it was a one way trip, for the magic was anient, and no dragon alive, even their wise elder Dragon, Quetzal, could determine a way to send Max back to the human realm. It was different from the other magic scale that you could say certain incatations to go back and forth between the dragon realm and the human realm. After that, Ruby told Quetzal that she would adopt little Max, and raise him as if he were her own hatchling. Perhaps they could find a way to make him dragon one day, but til they could discover the magic to do it, Max would be in the protective care of his new Titan of a mother, Ruby. Only a few hours after adopting him, she said to Max that they were gonna head to the store to get some supplies. Both for Max, and for the welcome home party, which would also be a surprise party for Ord and his older sister. Her husband was already aware, but was busy with making sure that no dragon ventured too close to what was known as "The Great Vortex". For Ruby meanwhile. She's gotta find a way to get her new son to stop bounching. Give her a break, she's ticklish.

Figured I'd use some screenshots and a background and my traceover of Ord's mom to make the last scene work to make a little comic. And here, I made it where Max was adopted by Ord's mom. I'm sure Ord wanted a little brother. As for the playroom in the pouch, I felt with all the magic the draons possess in their world, that the parents should have the means of making a sort of "pocket dimension" playroom in their pouches, so that the little ones don't keep trying to climb out cause of boredom. I also decided to name Ord's mom Ruby, since the show never gave us a name, and it fits with her scale color.
