Description
Last months progress on Celtic Sew Along by Acupictor's Stitch Along. Managed to spend a few whole days stitching this which did help speed progress up so looking like middle column should/will be finished this year π. Do need to do a bulk buy of threads for this so I don't run out of any colour.......no ideas how many skeins I've used so far and no ideas how many will be used by the end coz I ain't counting, all I know is it's a hell of a lot.Stitched on 14 count with DMC threads

Definitely making progress! I love all the various shades of blue and green you're using.

I once crocheted a tablecloth that took me about 6 months, busy with it all my free time. I could only find thread a few at a time, and I scoured all the stores about 30-40 miles from our home. I gave up on the color matching unless the craft comes as a kit. Dyeing thread and yarn is an art and a science all together. Even within dye lots do they colors vary. That has been true my entire life of crafting for 60 years or so. I finally decided to use the "random" method, to keep the color tones relatively equal.Β
You are making fine progress. However, I see a color change in the blues on my monitor. Any particular Blue dye is especially hard to match. Keep up the fantastic work, Debbie. It is beautiful!
Well done!
