This is the latest square to be added to The Samplerlife Designer Square SAL, the official SAL started '15 and finished late '16/early last year but as the piece of fabric I was using is huge I decided to carry on filling it up lol.ΒThere are many more photo's to come of this project of all the previous designer squares stitched, have also worked out there's another 12 squares to go on the top half of the fabric before starting on the bottom half of the fabric (no ideas how many squares as haven't worked them out yet) so there are plenty more photo's to come over time.Β
Stitched on fabric from local furnishing fabric shop with DMC threads
If any designer wants to.add to this they are more than welcome, the stitching square is 50 X 50 stitches (2 over 2) or 100 X 100 stitches (1 over 1)

No they're not, there are more flower squares (can't remember off top of my head who) but it's a mish mash of designs lol π

Made it interesting as we had no ideas what the designer had done til Ina released the square at the beginning of the month, all we knew from the very beginning were which designers had given designer square lol

I can add you to The Samplerlife group on FB and you can get the charts, Ina uploaded them last few weeks due to all the requests she was still getting for people wanting to join the SAL.......poor Ina's brain was frying due to all the requests and tryjng to send all the charts out lol

Will be back here properly as soon as, am test stitching a chart and hopefully π€ we've sorted the colours. Cierra found out I have a stash of silk threads......bye bye went the official DMC threads lol π

Silks are great to stitch with especially Stef Francis hand dyed silk threads (she also does hand dyed normal cotton thread as well).....think the only thread I haven't tried stitching with is rayon, there again I have got a huge stash of threads that are either silk or rayon no one's really sure lol

And sounds like I'll have to try the silks again. They do look lush. Maybe I just didn't try enough XD. What is rayon for a kind of thread?

This is one of the saner squares, some of the others drove me nuts stitching them lol
