Description
Remind the one in the lower left is traced. Sadly I lost the source. But remind! Tracing helps someone to develop the art style.
This scribble will never used as a real artpiece and stays in my scrapbooks.

The problem with tracing is some people use it as a perpetual crutch, rather than a proper learning tool
I think you did a nice work. Now you just need to do a version in your own art style and make the lines less stiff x3

Yep. But I kinda learn from tracing. I learn how they work and be able to include the techniques it to my drawings.
Sadly I didn't found the original for the link. I tthink I saw it on a youtube video on marks channel.
I have no problem to trace someones art as long as I make clear its traced and I just use it for leaning properties.
I will never claim something like that as my own artwork and I don't want to start a fight about that.
I know some people think different.

I personally prefer to try to look at the image and then try to mimic it without tracing *I need to train the eye*
Lately I only use tracing when it comes to animation. It's pretty much mandatory there

Thts what I do too. But isn't that tracing too somehow??

No, it only counts as tracing when you have an image directly underneath to trace from. The other is freehand drawing (I think that's the english name for it, not sure)

Oh. Really. No. I don't do that.

But i use that technique for inking with light table. That is great for saving your predrawing.

Yes but one thing is tracing your own artwork, other is tracing someone else's. The 1st is more closely related to inking

I don't think Im that good. But at leat I know he is searching for himself sometimes for his name.
I don't think its good enough to show him. Maybe he finds himself all by his own. I marked it with the right tags.
