To be honest I think the angles on both panels need to be changed.Β It's unclear he's struggling in the 1st (and the side view doesn't help) and in the 2nd it looks more like he was tossed than falling

I would use a close-up for the first, so you can tell he's struggling and the other guy is having a hard time to grasp him right
As for the second I would use either the big eye's point of view or one seen from the ground. Or a moment later in the fall
