Hardly anyone will find problems with Marie based on miscommunication. She is so clear about what she wants and the type of person she is-- everyone should know all about her by now. She is a bit independent, with no strings attached to anyone anymore. She's a tad bit impulsive... as long as something sounds good, she'll consider it. History:
It broke Marie's heart to leave her friends and family behind in Fallmead, but she was intent on getting a fresh new start when she transferred to Briar University in Greystone. An education that... landed her nothing more than a job as the local bartender. At a fancy high-end restaurant, at least, but it still wasn't the bright and shining singing career that she dreamed of. The gal was unlucky, unlucky... but she stayed positive.

Word of her singing talent got around in her workplace. People heard her singing to herself as she mixed drinks, mouthing the words to live performances, or singing whatever requests her drunken guests had for her. She was a very popular bartender there, and many demanded that the manager of the restaurant let her perform on the stage to the dinner-and-a-show guests. Eventually, they gave in. It still wasn't as big as she wanted to go, but being a regular act at any place was a good start, right?

The restaurant she worked for had a fantastic reputation in town. Peaceful, classy, and filled with talented cooks and artists. All until a little misunderstanding caused a big accident one night. Some wasted nightwalkers picked fights with each other and with the humans at the bar, and it turned out far more violent than the problem originally called for. In an attempt to stop them from causing other guests any harm, Marie was accidentally batted around so badly that her entire right side was bruised and injured for months. Her fingers had been bitten clean off and she would bear the scars from the attack for years to come. The gal was unlucky, unlucky... but she forgave them.

The terror from that night didn't seem to phase Marie on the outside. She still acted the same as always, even cracking jokes about how she "really" got those scars. Her slight disability made it a little harder to do her job as fast as she used to, but her manager forgave it since she promised she'd make it work. She practiced hard to make sure that no matter how damaged she may get, she would still try as hard as she usually did. She still had to make her singing career fly.

Not as many people come to her restaurant nowadays, so it has less money to spend on other artists to come in and perform for guests. Someday, their 5 star reputation will return, and it's grown on her so much that she can't bear to leave it as it is. Marie hopes to make it famous again by taking the stage for herself.
