My first attempt at grilling! My Poppy and I spent today doctoring this perfect cut of meat, we found a gorgeously thick cut of filet mignon in the freezer and defrosted it before we began a succulent rich soy butter baste accented by zesty pepper flakes, to top it off the meat was tenderly rubbed in olive oil and a cayenne pepper rub served up with sea salted yukon gold potato fries and santa orange soda. This is the best steak I've ever had, my first attempt at grilling, and my first shot at food photography au natural!

The highlight of the dish had to be the fries though, crisp and crunchy biting through those golden skins and deliciously creamy insides underneath reminiscent only of mashed potatoes!
