Description My "love art" to ~manapul and what he's done on his run of The Flash.

Made me love the character.

I used: Prisma markers, correction pen, yellow paint pen, and ballpoint pen.

Flash is owned by DC comics, and yes, the title is a Queen reference.

Ya use marker and pen tool only ? Nice job making it !
Why don't ya try use PC softwere for colour one of your drawing , since you alreadly have all the basic .
.
Some tool are hard to be find in shop , Pc is the best answer.

I'm pretty crappy with digital means. Right now I am trying to learn how to paint, ink, and overall use a pencil in better and more stylistic ways.

My friend teach me this , the most faster way to learn basic and improve our speed/fast drawing in any thing like ex bckground or character you make.
(Hmmm it should sound like this ....So went we start drawing anything ,sometime our hand move to slow , our brain tell's you to stop drawing for mistake to much maybe cause of heat or you had no absolutely no idea to draw next like cloth design for ex.... )
.
ummm....He(my friend) told me "Try take some of your favourate comic you admire any chapter should be fine , and then pick up all your drawing tool also a huge amount of it(No way!Who did he KNOW i have it !? :I). ok finish......huh? what? Oh I almost forget about it, CHOOSE ANY PAGE AND DRAW IT BACK EXACTLY WITH YOUR PENCIL AND INKING ONLY BEFORE 3 HOUR NON-STOP !!"
.
Me: " 3 hour!!! oi !!!"
Him: "Just shut up ! no complain about this page are to hard !"
Me: " Ugu..!!!"
.
That's the story ,well after you made 3 pg your drawing and brain should be at least more improve then usual. >:U

THANKS! I definitely am going to start trying these out. Guidelines for pushing practicing to new levels always are very helpful.

A ) Big fan of the Flash (especially Barry Allen) and B ) Very Nice Queen/Highlander reference.

I do love Barry Allen as the Flash, but you gotta admit, he's so "white bread" it hurts sometimes. Frankly having Barry as the Blue Lantern, the epitome of all that's right with the world, the blonde WASP that he actually is was just slightly annoying. That's really the only down-side to his return. I'm definitely looking forward to the new Flash series, though.

I'm a Wally West man, myself. But the recent Barry series headed by Johns and Manapul has eased me into enjoying Barry more so than I did before...

On the topic, yes. Allen is FAR too white bread. lol I feel like all Wally needed was a great story to get him out of the stagnate, hell give Wally the Flashpoint and it changes the scope.

But with Barry back, I guess we shall see the Flash Family back in full effect.

It doesn't really help that the last big Barry Allen story before Rebirth was his death in 1985 during the Infinite Crisis. I'm only 24, so I grew up with Wally West and Kyle Rayner as Flash and GL, but somehow I was always pulled backwards in time to the early 80's with Barry and Hal. It was great to finally see Barry, Wally, Bart and Jay together in the Flash: Rebirth though. Sadly, it's gonna be about the last time we see Jay, which will be very weird.

Damn, so they really are erasing off the Family? That bums me out majorly.
And I am in about your same boat, being nearly 20, Kyle and Wally were what I knew for a long time. Even meeting the other span of both's personal connections (such as Hal and John) I still find myself fond of who I grew up with.

Flash: Rebirth was fairly nice in "getting the family back together" in more than one way, which I love. But, I have yet to understand why they could not, and still "can not" incorporate the JSA in the DCnU. Because with Jay gone... It is going to be weird indeed.

I think they'll show up later. These are just the 52 titles they're starting off with and they've even said that there will be other characters from the old DCU showing up every so often. With Jenny Hayden (Jade) still being there, we can't really exclude Alan Scott with him being her father and Kyle's mentor. It just wouldn't work. By the same token, you can't have Barry Allen without at some point bringing in the man who inspired him to take on the guise of Flash. Same with Wally, if Barry is even around Iris for any length of time you gotta have her nephew come in. There's some more I could get into, but at that point I might as well write a whole book.

I'm actually writing a series of articles about the reboot for my college's newspaper as well as 2 or 3 reviews a week of key new issues (my choice of titles). So basically, I get college credit for reading comic books and writing about them.

Dude, that is fantastic.

The closest thing I get to comics being productive is my Mythology professor spouting "Modern Mythos of Comic Books"
