oh no :c that's so lame. tumblr fandom definitely is kinda dumb sometimes. it remembers me of the time people were bashing on michelle for portraiting crow (or raven? i can't remember) calling odin a virgin (as an insult). people started to say michelle was acefobic (???) and things like that. as if the character's personality reflected michelle's personality, you know? just lame.

I remember that! It just seems like some people can't understand that fictional characters: A) aren't their authors, and B) aren't real people! But there's messes like this in any fandom if it grows big enough, and although creators need to be held accountable for stupid shit they do, this stuff is kinda inevitable, even if you try to avoid controversy.
