Description
She was not a countess by blood; she married in by way of a naive tenth son of a rich count. Her tastes reflected as thus - fashion that could have come from the gypsies and balls with the oddest of customs. Her signature look involved the use of red and black - colors the court deemed too contrasting for any modest woman - and the profuse usage of beads. Her husband was too enthralled with her to say otherwise about her tastes - the court for now had to deal with her eccentricity. But some already talked of rumored trysts with a certain younger prince, and there was already rich gossip that could at any point give way to accusation....I made this during study week, from this pattern: [link] with a few modifications, though less than I expected. It's pretty amazing what changing the beads used can do to a pattern.

Fantastic. Was this piece inspired by Elizabeth Bathory?

I didn't know who she was until I just googled her, thanks to you. So no she wasn't, I just tend to make up stories as I go along haha.
Thank you so much for the compliments (and the new bit of information I just learned )

You're welcome. Elizabeth is not one of the best known vampires but she does have an interesting story.
